People..

I get asked this all the time in both a joking and serious way, and I just want to vent a little bit on the question.

Why don’t you just be social and have a life outside of gaming?

I’m sorry, but being a part of the gaming community is a life. I’ve met some pretty incredible people online who i never would have talked to in real life. I’ve met an amazing Christian guy (who’s name happens to be Christian) who builds me up every time we talk. I’ve met people who have expanded my beliefs on things taught me things and just been there for me. I had a friend on Runescape who I feel like was my best friend for years she was always there for me when I needed to talk about the drama that was going down, and I was there for her we had a bond and that was made because of a video game. The friends you make in real life are irreplaceable and I completely understand that and I love my friends. But friends you have online are different because they aren’t judging you for how you dress or whether or not you have braces their judging you on what level you are.. which isn’t as threatening. So before you sit there and say that I have no life because I spend a good amount of time online go try it out.
